That's an awesome mod, Russ. It looks like a real Seiko design! Have you thought of working for them?

Morning all! I think some Tritium is what I'm lacking these days. So, I'm going with this Luminox. That white bezel makes that a really unique watch, Jeff.

Limited Edition Strider Hyperdive (Miyota 9015) Graphic design of dial, hands, bezel, case and bracelet were created by the controversial Jim Skelton. Wing Liang provided mechanical design with materials knowledge, parts manufacturing sources, and final assembly resources to make them in 2013, two years after he left ShopNBC. Remaining stocks of them were eventually liquidated in deeply discounted sale prices by Wing. For me it was another opportunity to get one more interesting watch with a Miyota 9000 family inside for a very, very low price. I remember that one! That minute hand would cause me to have a serious OCD episode, but other than that it's a good looking watch. Honeymooning with the Dan Henry, of course. I love a domed crystal when I'm wearing a watch, but I hate photographing them! So many reflections! Fabulous addition, Daniel! Don't sweat the reflections, work with 'em.....explore your artistic side

This day did not end quick enough. I think the only thing that happened to me positive today was when I snuck home mid-morning in-between jobs to put a turkey breast in the slow-cooker. Mmmm, that was good. Rest will be turkey sandwiches tomorrow. Yuri on the wrist tonight.

Good looking selections, gents. Wearing a new to me Hamilton Belowzero 1000m beast today. Got it yesterday IHD! I had one in the past, sold it and missed it, so grabbed this one for a great price and I think it's a keeper. Nice addition, Mike! It has some influence from other famous divers, but it's very unique and it's own thing.

Must rediscover it!

Funny, I had to think of Android/Aragon, when I saw this watch, this one with very nice "tarmac" kind of dial and deeper laying markers, very interesting! I followed this in the past (often got mail from Android) and probably didn't go for it because of same old, same old shipping/VAT/handling. My watch market will be also smaller when Brexit is a fact later on, I found quite a number of watches on eBay UK...
Anyway, today my #3 bronze watch, this time the more brass looking Heimdallr Tuna (Sharkey).
Brass is an extremely important maritime alloy!

The heat is gone and it's time to start cooking again! I love that case back! Early in my collecting history, I was all about display backs. Then I discovered all the awesome case back designs, and that I really didn't need to see another affordable movement through the back.

I am no cook by any means. Basically it is a Jenny-O pre-cooked turkey breast. I rub some oil on the outside and salt/pepper. I put a plastic liner in the crock-pot, sprinkle some flour on the bottom to catch the turkey drippings to make a bit of gravy. Turkey breast is placed in crock-pot, low heat, many hours. One of these times I will try pulling the turkey and letting it simmer a while that way.
