It's a heat wave! Love that Willard. It's warming up to 11F here today, but currently -6F. Still with the Deco 01.

Well I'm happy to report that the Polar Vortex has finally lifted! It's -10C at the moment.... That's like the Army Seiko. Awesome! Send "warmer" air my way. I'm gonna get a summons for not having my sidewalk cleared. I should move to a home.
Alpina Startimer Heritage GMT! I like the simple brushed bracelet the best.

Well I'm happy to report that the Polar Vortex has finally lifted! It's -10C at the moment.... Hi Russ, nice Seiko. This morning there was approx. 2" of snow in the streets and it froze a few degrees. By the time I was up, had breakfast and showered, I had an idea to go out in the snow in the garden and make a new picture... Yeah, well, It was already gone.. 1ºC...
So, an old picture instead. Apart from the date, it hasn't changed. That's got a funky case, Johan!

Monday should be the end of my cold snap. Furnace has been keeping up mostly, and it does cycle on/off even if the on time is longer. Continuing the quartz watches, but I'm close to being able to turn a crown with my thumb again. Been treating with cortazone cream for over a week. Citizen Blue Angels World-Chrono

Citizen Blue Angels World-Chrono What did you do to your thumb? I must have missed it. A fine Eco-Drive. What are all the functions of that movement? I have crappy old-person skin. The very tip of my right thumb dried, cracked and bled a bit. It has been very sensitive since.
The watch movement is radio-controlled (and a pseudo world-timer by changing your set time zone). Sixty minute 1/20 second chrono. Date at 3, day of week pointer at 6. 24-hour subdial. Power reserve indicator at 12. Internal side-rule bezel. In comparison to my titanium Eco-Drive chrono, that one has a 2nd time zone quick-change and an alarm.
