I set the 6R35 and 4R36 to the correct time. Twelve hours later they were both within one second of correct .... a good result. Continuing on to twenty-four hours, both watches had gained five seconds, still a good showing. I then set both watches to the correct time. Twelve hours later the 4R36 was still spot on, while the 6R35 had lost twelve seconds. This is consistent with prior experience, with the 4R36 running a steady rate on a consistent basis, and the 6R35 swinging widely either fast or slow. Yeesh. I'll have to check my Alpinist next time I wear it. I rarely check the accuracy anymore. At least a couple times a month I set a watch an hour off, and wear for half the day before I notice. Even though I look at my watches constantly!

Arrived at home around 11:15 am. Yesterday it took 6 hours to move only 220 miles. My nerves were shot and I could not take it any longer by 10pm. I said "Hey Google, show me hotels" and the phone steered me to the nearest. I changed to my Stowa after unpacking the car. You could paste that Stowa pic into the moon. It just looks like it wants to do that.
Ugh. Last time it took me 6 hours to go that far was when I got stuck at border crossings.

No surprise I guess given your photographic skills particularly in the astral realm. Oh, great watch too!

That's a really nice blue! Island Watch has a 40mm green dial Genta influenced chrono on sale for $900. So tempting. But no watch buying!

Really really nice, Russ. Great bracelet! A marine dial is on my want list. With Arabic numerals!
No, it's not a watch, but the bracelet for this Seiko 5. I paid almost as much as the watch cost, but it's brand new OEM in the original packaging. I've seen Dan B put the bracelet on his sand dial version of this, and I loved the look. It's perfect!
That combo definitely works Dan.

Still driving home this morning with the same Citizen Satellite Wave I left with Sunday. Have to use imagination right now. It was highway of horror yesterday and I had to give up driving home when it got late. Still worth it Dan. 😀 My old decrepit @ss is still recovering from my trip a couple weeks ago. I'm saving my traveling to visit family and friends in Buffalo when I know the weather will be decent. Plus, I have your awesome photos to look at! I did watch the partial here, and we had 99%. It was very surreal. The sun was out, and there were sharp shadows, but it felt like it had been replace with a 100w bulb. Nothing like the darkness of the total eclipse. These photos strangely look just like what I am seeing from my memory cards.
