Well my plan today was to sleep half the day away. Almost did it too. Same watch, different day (SWDD) Did an experimental strap-change. Khaki 1-piece WWII reproduction in 18mm. I'm trying to decide if I hate the 1mm gap it leaves.

Lots of work outside today... G-Shock for now DOXA later. Great stuff! Hottest day of the week, tomorrow is a new week! It's evening around 8 pm now, still hot outside, in the living room it just was 28ºC/82.4ºF and outside 35ºC/95ºF and no A/C around, just in the car...
Still around 1.00 pm I sold my HERC PO, the Bosch watch and the traded Seiko 5 in one go (Herc and Bosch came back from closed up UPS Shop, were already paid for) and got a really good price for the "5", more then expected. I also quickly put a new battery in the Bosch, as that stopped underway, and I told the guy and he flipped me 20 euros. I says, that's way to much, such a battery is only a few bucks, and then he traded me for 10 euro's (still overpriced but did not take no for an answer)
Still have to sell the Caravelle, I'll try that on the Dutch forum, see what happens.
I started off with the Samurai, to show seller, what came in place of the "5"
When he went away, I swapped for light weight, to titanium...

Lots of work outside today... G-Shock for now DOXA later. G-Shock always a good one for it. Wore mine yesterday afternoon doing some overdue yard work. Seiko 5 6119C for me today. One of several ~1970's vintage pieces I have. Bracelet is aftermarket, but period for the watch, and fits its case profile perfectly. Got it from a fellow PMWF member a month or two after buying the watch on ePrey in Dec. 2005, just before Christmas. The 6119 was an evolution of the 6105 and is considered part of its larger family of movements which spans a number of calibers including the 6139. Difference between the "C" and prior variants of the movement is the day/date quickset which is actuated by pushing in the crown and implementation of bilingual day. The "A" and "B" cannot quickset the day, only the date. They require scrolling the time back and forth to advance the day, without engaging the date change mechanism which occurs before the day change. The "C" quickset advances the day and date if the crown is pushed in fully, and advances only the date if pushed in partially. There's tactile feedback when pushed in halfway with increased spring compression resistance to pushing it in further. What a nice and pretty vintage model. The day/date thing reminds me of my A.Schild in the Caravelle.

New to the forum, haven't been here since the old PMWF days. Wearing this one on Saturday.

The G-Shock is a good choice for outside work, and the Doxa is a good choice for anything. Was wearing my new Seiko 5 on the green Perlon, as dictated by you, the viewer! Very comfortable combination. I spent a lot of the day sleeping. i hate waiting for biopsy results, and it's easier to just sleep until I get them on Monday. Lots of work outside today... G-Shock for now DOXA later.

Nice choices, Marcel. Went with the Alpina Seastrong chrono this morning. Great diver chrono, Mike! I like Alpina.

Good game plan there Marcel. Thought I'd start off with an Oris and take it from there.... The domed crystal is really cool on that one, Russ.

Nice choices, everybody! Stratus for me today. I love the nice thick minute track markers. Do they glow?

Drying out after yard clean up with Sumo. But I see blue sky moving in. Bob OK, Bob. What's your secret to shooting pictures inside your car without dust showing up everywhere. Even in the minutes after I clean my car out, there are dust specks everywhere. Maybe I'm like Pigpen. Attachment Deleted

The khaki looks pretty good, but the gap would make my OCD flare up. Plus, I still like it on the black with blue stitching best.

When he went away, I swapped for light weight, to titanium...That's a great looking Samurai, Johan. Nice Orient, too. I know from experience that it's a really light watch.
