It was funny, on the Egyption TV, the president of Egypt praising his Egyptian crew to made it possible that the Ever Given was pulled smoothly. Now I was advocating for off-loading all the containers, filling the ship back up with ammonium nitrate, and blowing it up into small pieces of scrap metal. Just dredge and start operation again!

But if you unloaded all the containers it would probably float up and be free. Would you still want to explode it?  |

This is what a smaller ship by today's standards full of ammonium nitrate will do when it explodes. Fill the Ever Given and the Suez Canal becomes a new lake!
