So, I'm still a freaking watch addict! I found another oldie tucked away on an Asian sales site, one I had wanted in the past but passed up because it's "only" 40mm. Should be perfect! Orient this time. This place has a lot of watches from around 15 years ago. It's better than doin' heroin!  Cheaper, too.  |

They work great on pain at first, but before you know it, the same amount doesn't work. Which is why people get addicted. They're made to be trouble. |

Well, it arrived today! But no Happy Day. It was shipped to a FedEx depot in my local Walgreens, but FedEx has it at a place that's 30 minutes away, in the crappiest, most traffic filled area of town. So I complained to the seller, and called FedEx. FedEx said there was nothing they could do, but the seller is now trying to have FedEx deliver to the address they shipped it to. If I was smart, and hadn't been tired and crabby, I would have just made the drive n Saturday. But now I set something on motion, and I don't know what the status of the package is. That's my tale of woe. Waaaah! It's so difficult being an affluent white male American. |
