Just acquired another Hamilton Khaki hand winder- the last one will be used as a parts watch. Wearing the Khaki and the SandY which went through the washing machine unscathed yesterday. Have a great day, everybody!!! Congrats, Marcel! So the Thai military one isn't included, right? That Sandy did good surviving the wash! What's the water resistant rating on it? Islander piloty Xplorer today/

The other Khaki is a mess of broken/missing case screws and broken jewels.

It started with a bit of sun, but now it's just overcast. Only 12ºC, winter is slowly but surely approaching. Went to the Gym, but there is a threat, that because of increasing Covid19 numbers on IC's, we can only enter with our European Corona-pass QR code, so there must be always personnel to check that with a scanner. This would limit the hours people can go and do their fitness, which is normally possible 24/7. Now, only 6 days a week during morning hours, there is staff. Also, we have to return to the face masks in shops, libraries, hairdresser... About 80% in our country is vaccinated...
Well, we'll see, today wearing something to replace the color of the sun Stay safe, Johan! I still wear a mask when I go anywhere, because half the people here act like there's no pandemic. Whatever. Enough of us are vaccinated (~60%) to keep the hospitals from getting too overwhelmed, and that's what I care about. If I encounter some major side effect I want to be able to get treated ASAP. Awesome yellow dial!

Nice pickup of the Hammy - congrats! Not too surprised the Sandy survived a trip through the wash - tough little bugger! Great combo on the Alpinist, Russ. Cool chrono, Jeff - interesting dial color too. Johan - that one should brighten up your day for sure. Me, still with the Waltham F&M. Gonna be a long honeymoon with that beauty, right?

Awesome yellow dial! Thanks, about 20% here are not vaccinated, mostly immigrants from the ME and a certain amount from the Bible belt (yes, we have also a Bible Belt!). Since our dumb Government cut back on the price of healthcare in recent years, we don't have enough IC beds and not enough people to treat people on IC's. Now they are bitten in the butt and the only thing is, now since vaccinated people still can get COVID19 and spread it(!), all of us have to suffer for that stupid chance we are have to go to the IC... People with regular IC need, have to wait for their treatments and operations...
