Friday and yesterday I spent a long time talking to UPS representatives (which are actually living in Portugal!) and talked Dutch or Flemish and it seems the 2 watches I sold and sent to one person, were refused by the UPS Access point. Thus they return to my place (UPS logics!) instead to of an alternative UPS Access point in his neighbourhood. They would have done that, when the Access point was closed/shut down completely, but not at refusal of the owner of the Access point!
I talked to the buyer and he was also interested in another watch I'm going to sell, when the Samurai arrives and he decided, that he is going to pick them up as soon as the third watch is available but in a weekend (he seems to work 7:00 am-10:pm!). Meanwhile I had to claim the shipping costs for my 2 returned packages (the first will be returned coming Tuesday) Actually, that's profitable for me, as I don't have to ship another watch and can hand 3 watches over to him in one visit, when he buys the third watch.
The Samurai is finally on it's way and will hopefully arrive in about another week. Seller took his time to ship it out (6 days) but indeed brought it to an UPS Access point in Italy for international shipping, but the Access point told him that because of the covid the package was stopped in storage. He then showed me a label that he actually brought it in. The same day I received an UPS "exeption notification" Exception Reason: The UPS Access Pointâ„¢ location has prepared the package for return to UPS or pickup by UPS. So seller was right and then I got an e-mail from a shipping company "Spedire" in Italian language: Nuovo aggiornamento per la tua spedizione and the message was: (translated) the tracking of your shipment nr ************ has been updated. I.O.W. it's finally (as per August 1st) on its way.
A big difference with the Aragon from the UK which was in my hands in 8 days from day of selling (my birthday, 21th July)
