Android DM Enforcer Chronograph (Limited Edition) This is a big one at 50mm. Not a size I'd have bought except for the extraordinarily low price for its 34-jewel, 28.8kbph high beat SII NE78 column wheel chrono automatic - versus the stiff pusher cam lever mechanism in the ETA 7750. Has a screw down crown, but like most "diver" chronos made now, the pushers don't screw down. The knurled collars around them are there just for show; they don't unscrew or lock the pushers. Its very short lug design with integrated bracelet just barely fits my smaller wrist.

I have to say this Barton Strap is like the O-Positive of watch straps......it's a universal donor! Thought I'd try it on my Typhoon.

I'd love to get one with the date and 12-hour dial. And you're right about the chrono function. The NE78 and my Sea-Gull chronos are so nice and smooth to operate. Islander diver under a cloudy sky for me today.

Late check-in. Was mowing the hay crop after work. Bertucci DX3 is the wrist cover. Cool glowy watch! Did you bale the hay? When I was in high school, I spent a couple hours on my dad's friend's farm, cutting old orchards for firewood and doing farming stuff. That's where I almost cut my fingers off with a chainsaw. Anyway, we'd bale the hale with an ancient baler and leave it in the field, then come back later with the wagon and pick it up. All the field mice would be hiding under the bales, and when you'd pick one up, the mice would scatter, and the flock of seagulls circling overhead would pounce on them and swallow them whole and alive. You could see them squirming while they went down the throat. i think I've officially become an old guy with that story.

Dan, I spent a summer between junior and senior years of HS laboring for a seed-corn farm. Actually Renk seed company is a large operation with farms all over my area. Hybrid corn requires removing the "tassel" on all the female rows of corn before they germinate. A male row is planted for every 5 female rows. This is done mostly manually by whoever is willing to work for farm wages, mostly high school students. Some migrants. Prior to detasseling season, I was pulling and hoeing weeds. I walked many miles through corn fields that summer.
Also my grandfather and later my uncle had a dairy farm. I never left the house alone when I was younger. The farm dogs were mean and larger than me!

The farm dogs were mean and larger than me! I've heard stories about working the detasseling job! Buffalo was too urban to have any real farming jobs. Up in Niagara county where I stayed, there were mostly fruit orchards and grapes for wine. Bob's farm was just a hobby. His real job was teaching auto mechanics at the vocational high school where my dad taught English.
