San Martin 62MASPaying homage to Seiko's first "dive" watch introduced in April 1965, the 62MAS-010, aka 6217-8000 using the movement caliber and case number. San Martin's is an updated version with an SII NH35 movement, drilled lugs, screw down crown, water resistance increased from 150m to 200m, domed sapphire crystal, and ceramic bezel insert. Case size is 3mm larger at 40mm diameter, and lug width 1mm wider at 20mm, the latter allowing much greater choice for aftermarket straps and vintage style bracelets.

Yep, San Martin is one of the better QC Chinese manufacturers. Since my Cronos is also a 62MAS homage, it still looks like my lugs are a bit shorter then the Seiko's and other Chinese homages, though my case is ± 42,6 mm and the bezel ± 43mm. It might just look shorter compared to smaller 40 mm cases. I am still stoked about the look, feel and quality of the Cronos. I brought it to bed (in the case) last night and I was surprised with the Seiko strength lume it has...
Today another good sturdy quality watch with ample lume. The Promaster Ecodrive...

Been at home now a 2nd day due to some G-I symptoms that finally had me feeling weak in the legs yesterday afternoon. Have improvement today I am crediting bed rest for, but let's say my bone marrow has it's work cut out for it to make me feel better. Taking the easy route and wearing yesterday's watch, the Sturmanskie Okeah
