I'm not in any way affiliated with Mido. I found that Ocean Star yesterday, and then started checking out their website and found these. In the 1920s Mido made a lot of novelty watches, including wristwatches in the shape of many different automobile radiators of the time, perhaps up to 130 brands. Watches and cars are two things that I'm always reading about, so I was pretty interested. The most famous models were the Bugatti ones, and one of them recently sold for a record price. I'm actually feeling pretty good lately. Hence the posting activity. |

That Mido looks great on you ! No, that's not me! I grabbed that picture from the Mido website. Since one of these sold in 2021 for almost $300,000.00, it's way out of my reach. |
