Decide that the 1966 Rolex Air-King-Date (ref 5700)gets the nod. The only thing difficult with its 1520 movement is its lack of quick set date... haven't worn it in a couple weeks, so a lot of turning on the crown. Hope everyone drifts into the weekend safely!

Very nice, my friend! I had a feeling for a low key watch and came up with this, which actually is a unibody, eco drive and a world time watch, so 'low key'?
Have a great weekend all!

Very nice, Marcel! I don't wear my Russian watches much since they don't have a quickset date either. Eco-Drive that my girl friend gave me a couple of years ago for me today. Chocolate dial and gold hands with a flat crystal just make it really difficult to photograph.

The Classic Air King Marcel Much, much better than the current one that wants to be an Explorer. Alpha "Yacht"
A shameless Yachtmaster homage, it's one of two in my accumulation with a Miyota 8200 movement. Won't buy another with an 8200 inside. The stuttering seconds hand is a deal-breaker. Too many other watches with (IMHO) better movements inside.

Cool Rollie there Marcel. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours btw. While it will be a far more muted affair this year, we still have plenty to be grateful for! It's been a terrific fall so far here in Cowtown.

Cool looking Alpha- does everything necessary to look like the pricier original.

Fall is filling in quite nicely here as well. Oh, and great Stowa

Nice Rollie Marcel. My Seamaster has me pulling the crown out all the way repeatedly to quick-set the date. It throws the time set off so I have to do the date first on that. A nice warm blast for a couple of days, almost 80F today. I had to drive 100mi away from Madison and I made sure to make it the scenic autumn colors route as much as I could. I did not have my camera unfortunately since I had no idea of what my route would be until this morning. Back home and switched to my Laco Valencia with it's Miyota 82xx based movement. It has this really cool stuttering feature... Actually it doesn't do that at all to my eyes.

I did own one of those Omega movements- it’s a bugger. Wonderful Laco- love the hands
