Windows 11 in the recent days has been getting an update that replaces Cortana with an AI help thing called Copilot. I'm not sure if Windows 10 is getting that same change or not. I no longer have Windows 10 on anything.
So I needed to scratch a Thankgiving itch for a meme. I wanted a turkey being sent off to it's doom being watched by a line of other turkeys. Kind of like a death-row last walk. Then add the caption "For Those About To Roast We Salute You".
Well I started with asking Copilot for an image. It erred a little on the death thing, possibly an artificial limitation placed on it. But I kept refining the parameters. Asked for other turkeys in a line. Asked for a farmer holding an axe. Asked for the farmer to be leading the turkey. Asked for it to be done Norman Rockwell style. And so on.
Well it botched the caption. Did not quite capture the death-row feel I was going for. But for something bundled with Windows now, it did surprise me how it tried to do as I asked. Of course at 1 point I had a 3-armed farmer in the picture.
