You gotta expect that living in The Great White North, eh. Coo loo coo coo, coo coo coo coo!! Mr. Crusty is looking crustilicious. Stay warm! We have a "winter storm" coming that is supposed to drop rain and a few inches of slushy snow. Yech. Seiko SNZH23 is still on my wrist again. This is one of the best looking watches in my collection, IMHO. Went for a drive in my new Trax. Chevy should sell a load of these. For what I paid, it is equipped like a luxury car. It's only available in front wheel drive, but it's basically an affordable economy car made to look like an SUV so 'Murcans will buy it. And the 3 cylinders are proving to be more than adequate. It moves along pretty good! It looks pretty tough, too. Not sure about 'one of the best looking watches', but that is just my opinion, you have so many real beauties in your collection! About that Chevy: I think it would do pretty good here in Europe, especially elderly people (like me ) like a higher mounting in and out. I'm sometimes struggling to get in lower sedans and hatchbacks. They sell a ton of SUV's sometimes those high EV's which are way to bulky for our roads and parking places imo. Is this car made by Chevrolet in the USA, or is it made in Korea, as we have seen with smaller Chevy's in the past?

For Snowmeggedon '24 coming tomorrow, I start tonight with my Marathon field watch handwinder. I'll keep everyone updated on all the buildings that explode from the snow barrage. I'll likely stick with this watch on Tuesday also. Maybe not my most coveted Marathon, but certainly a cool looking one!

The media was hyping the storm for us, and we got no snow, just lots of rain, and it's been in the 40s all day.

Well it would appear that winter has finally arrived....presently -19C with a forecast low of -33C on Friday. It was nice while it lasted.Thought I'd go with Mr Crusty today as it's been a while. LeJour Reverse Panda ... I like it better than the Daytona I sold. I agree with you. I much prefer the 6-9-12 layout

Yes, just a 1.2 liter turbocharged 3 cylinder. I was a bit concerned, but it has 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. And it has a real 6-speed transmission instead of a CVT. I'm more impressed with it every time I drive it. And it's so smooth and quiet compared to my WRX. When I go over the ubiquitous bumpy Michigan roads, I giggle a little.

It's made in Korea. It was initially designed for the Asian market as the Chevy Seeker. It's taller than my sedans were, but it's not crazy tall. No climbing in. It's smaller than it looks, and actually weighs about 350lbs/160kg less than the Subaru. It's basically a small hatchback.

Nowadays the Korean cars are pretty reliable, maybe just have to have the Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura before them. They came far in a short while.

They're all made in plants all over the world, from parts that are designed all over the world and 80% made in China. I worked in the industry, and learned that it's a crap shoot. No matter what you buy, you have a good chance of getting a reliable vehicle, and a slight chance of getting a lemon. My Mexican assembled Nissan and Ford's were really good cars. My Japanese assembled Subaru was a piece of crap. Roll the dice.

My Honda is from the UK, the last different (EU model) model they built, now they have the same Civic models worldwide, made in different area's
