Another hectic week gone and time to relax- yeah, right! Going with an over-the-top Timex Expedition Shock XL today, a 50mm beast that cost 30 bucks Canadian (that’s what, 10 bucks American these days?). Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Years ago in the PMWF days, I opened an old Timex and was surprised to find a Casio branded movement inside. There’s been a link going back quite a ways. Have to see if I can find that group of pictures.

Yes, the knee still hurts. But the thumb-tip is better. I still have more quartz watches to wear though. Casio Marlin Looks like there are 2 more quartz watches to wear yet.

Orient Mako USA today. It has an updated dial and hands, bolder bezel insert, sapphire crystal, drilled lugs, and solid end links. Moves the Mako from a slightly dressy diver to a real tool watch.
