Ending the month with a hump...... Classic orange, Russ!
Picked up a short coat rack for our small hall. Between fuse box (we have a small closet in our house, where the main fuses for electricity and main lock taps for water and gas are, usually at the entrance of the house) and front door we have a space of 60 cm, about two feet, were we have our coats stacked. What we have now is a half circle with upper and lower hooks which makes the jackets and everything look like a chaos. Now I found a 50 cm (19,69") wide coat rack with standard cloth pins to hang jackets on. The "new" one has a bar with notes where the 7 pins slot in with even distances, under it 5 more pins to hang other stuff. On top there is a glass plate to put hats on or whatever. I did a lower bid and had to drive for 40 minutes and arrived at a mansion with two car garage in the middle of the woods. At the door there was a skinny lady, heavy botoxed face and brown (spray) tan. She actually mentioned she lived in NY for some years and her (nowadays?) husband has lived in several places on the East coast. Despite her appearance, she was extremely people person and we talked long after the car was backed up to her front door and the coat rack was in the back. The item was really heavy. I found out why. The back plate is a many pound heavy thick steel plate, that has to fixed to the wall (glad it goes into sand-lime brick) with.... 7 (!) three and a half inch long Parker screws. On top of that goes a thinner metal plate in which 2 big hex nuts go and a small pin screw on the bottom. On top of that goes the "roof" with glass plate and hanging bar. Certainly a way over engineered piece of kit! It was € 250 at a (design)interior company and I got if for a fraction of that money. Tomorrow I will go and measure and drill and mount and stuff...

Ending the month with a hump...... Nice orange to brighten the hump. According to the weather forecast, we have one more day of gray and rain before some sunshine. I hope the don't change it.
Islander Republic GMT on my wrist today.

MoonSwatch for this age of Japanese moon landers stuck upside-down like a turtle and cannot flip over.

Looks really good with the black tachymeter bezel. Thanks Dan, they're a really fabulous watch, even more so when you factor in their price.
