I didn't realize that the original Seikosha was a direct copy of a Swiss watch, though everyone else did. Copying other people's product wasn't an acceptable long term solution for Seiko, and they soon moved on with their own designs. The cheap copy that made a company great. Who would know, dipping a charger of a laptop and a MB Air in water would destroy the innards for good? Thinking drying it for days on a radiator in the living room would chase all the humidity away and it would be as new and can be used later with no problems? Think again. And being ultimate stupid thinking nothing would happen when connected to the mains AND the Macbook? WRONG! BAM! blew a fuse and a MB Air to non working existence... Glad it was a refurbished 2015 model, but anyway...
Found a charger for the Chromebook, hopefully that will still work, browsing on Ebay for another MB Air...
Anyway today it's gunmetal Turtle day...

Waiting on Wiarton Willy's prediction.... I want one of those! Must. not. buy. watches. I already made it through the first month of 2024.  I don't care what the groundhogs say, I'm just glad to have some sun today.
Chris made me wear my Maratac today. That big orange second hand sweeps smoothly with the Miyota 9015.

Jimmy in Sun Prairie saw no shadow and is now dancing in the streets not scared back into his hole. No ears were bitten off this year.  2-2-2016 A West End with it's tri-cyclops. |
