So are you buying a leisure suit now, Russ? Maybe with a huge collar silk shirt? You could be really sharp!

Congrats, Russ - I like that one a lot - great color! No leisure suit needed. Oris GBR for me today!

Funny how things go. I have two pre-orders made back in the fall of 2023 and it looks like one will land this Friday and the other in May perhaps. Meanwhile, I'm still all over the place with zero discipline Along those lines, I ordered a style of watch that ordinarily wouldn't be in my wheelhouse since I'm no hipster and have never owned a leisure suit! Now what's also amazing (aside from the watch) is that I ordered it on April 20th and it arrived April 23rd, all the way from the UK! Okay enough rambling, here she is and I will apologize in advance for subsequent WRUW posts featuring a myriad of strap options..... ..almost forgot to add that it's a Handaufzug! I like it when you ramble! Get to know you more and what your character is, and yes, I like that watch, as since it is mainly a dress watch, it is enough quirky to be to my liking too. Funny that Brits call the crystal "glass". I would call it just a hand wind watch, "Handaufzug" is more for German watches and Swiss watches actually manufactured in Switzerland and I am not sure if that one is, even with that name that sounds German, but should be Fahrer if real German. OK, joking aside, I like it really and today my watch could not be more different: Chinese Titanium copy of a Japanese Seiko Tuna but with the well known NH35A on board...

good work finding the handaufzug ..... I am behind the times with chess technology. We have gone from asking if a computer can beat a human to stating that a human cannot defeat a computer. Stockfish' rating of 3802 is vs other programs. If the rating were calculated vs humans it would be 6000 or 10,000 and so is completely crazy. This game shows that a good queen sacrifice earns a place in game history, and more obliquely, that a human would be unlikely to prevail. A human would be unlikely to prevail over Morphy, or Fischer for that matter. youtu.be/uyNDPKyxmQE?si=01c9GBLh14MZV7B2

I noticed your tuna is on a mesh bracelet as well. They're very comfortable eh?

Those Farer watches are really nice. I love the subtle green dial. I went for a drive in the evening sun with my Orient CEM59001D, and grabbed a pic from the driver's seat. I found that it was called The Orient Thunder back in 2010-11. Better pics tomorrow, when I find a strap. The watch is awesome, but the bracelet is folded. However, I think it's comfy and good looking. My Chevy has the black and dark gray emblems and logos. This really cheap little car is really making me happy. Pardon my diseased skin.

Love the blue and don't sweat the skin, big guy. Had to laugh though because I noted mine seems to have grown thinner too

I noticed your tuna is on a mesh bracelet as well. They're very comfortable eh? Stimmt genau! This is a bead blasted mesh and they sit comfy indeed, the manner to close them is another thing, not very handy, but that's how they work. I like a normal clasp, but this system makes it easy to reduce or increase the circumvention of the wrist.
