Continuing the 1970's Vintage Theme . . . 1974 Bulova Caravelle 200m Diver(Bulova puts a year code on the watch back and on the movement inside.) Yes, that's a Seiko Monster bracelet. It fit the hooded lugs perfectly; replaced the original Seiko clasp with an identical "sterile" one without any brand marks. Typical of divers from its era, the bezel is bi-directional friction without any detents.

Outstanding Caravelle, looks like a million. Seems like every day is a summer Dog Day. Usually it's cooler at the park with a cool breeze coming off the water. But yesterday nothing. Going with titanium today. Bob

I love mine, but no more room in tha boxes, so keeping my self done promise: every watch that is in rotation, which is in the box deserves its own place in the box. Is the place taken, alas it's selling time if the new one is more in demand on the wrist...
Still extremely hot! There were some clouds until noon keeping the temperature below 30ºc but clouds have been burned away and back to the new normal of the heatwave.... Sitting here behind my desk Hackintosh with my arms adhesive on the table top... Needed another light weight watch...

Going with titanium today. Bob Noice Bob! Here not much wind either, that's why the heatwave seems glued in place here for the whole coming week. Don't feel doing much. Still have to check vacancies for work (a obligation of one gets a few months unemployment benefit from the gov.) Tomorrow is another day...

Those bracelets from the 1st Gen Monsters are great and it really works on that Bulova.

Although visually “heavy”, that watch must feel light. Love that Orca look! Needed another light weight watch...
