Temperatures are dropping, the heat is still sitting in the bricks of our home, it will probably last a week, before our house is fully cooled down. That should be possible as luckily the temperatures are going down to reasonable Northern Europeans summer temperatures. That's for US citizens, the low to mid 70's.
There are 2 watches favourite with me momentarily: The Puck and the Samurai...

Excellent Johan! Finally had a few days of cooler temperatures and it's cool enough at night I can keep the A/C off the next day. The Vintage continues with a Waltham automatic made circa 1972 as best I can date it. This was my father's that I inherited in 1984 with two others, one of them his father's. He always preferred yellow gold (which I don't) and it's plated over base metal. Has a Speidel Twist-O-Flex. He liked expansion bands (which I hate) and loved the Twist-O-Flex design; put every watch he ever had on one. Among other things, they're a PITA to add/remove links from. This Waltham was unusual as he was enamored by the cheap Timex watches and that's what he wore for decades, pitching it out to buy a new one periodically. Has an FHF 905 inside, which helped place it in the first half of the 1970's. FHF was eventually absorbed into ETA during the 1980's. Runs quite well. This FHF movement is different from most in its date quickset and time setting (it doesn't hack). The 1st position is the normal wind. 2nd position sets time, and 3rd position is date quickset in either direction to run the date forward or back. The 2nd and 3rd are opposite from most movements, and all the contemporary ones I know of. He definitely wore it quite a bit from the wear on the bezel and especially the band. Need to hit the crystal with some Polywatch.

Nice puck there Johan! I made the mistake of paying a local AD a visit yesterday. I was hoping to see if some new Seiko models were in yet but as it turned out, I was a week too early. Then out of the blue, I was struck by an impulse and ended up with a new grab 'n go.....whoops In considering that this was an impulse buy, you have some really good impulses... that looks really good, especially the carbon/matte black.

Thanks. It's curious how 2 of my G-Shocks have that stealth look which is ok but they can be a bugger to read at times. More so for the negative LCD display though.

Having a rainy morning today. Still on the every-other day cycle with the Okeah. It gained some time since last wear and is now about 30 seconds ahead of correct time. I think it was about 10 seconds ahead last time. Still working on those meteor shower photos. I tried to remix the Saturn photo better last night but just decided I wasted a couple of hours on the wrong path shortly before midnight.

Probably could use some adjustments... Great night/day shot!
