The Blue Angels atomic time did not get it's synch last night, so I am using the Satellite Wave to fall-back everything. Now this watch has to be manually changed between DST and ST (that is related to the on/off on the subdial). But it is just changing a mode and the hour hand only then moves 1 hour. At that point it is optional to press the quick-synch button to grab time from a GPS satellite. You know, just top off the time.

Yes, that happens some nights. But interesting that the WWV synch of the Blue Angels is a bit more reliable than the automatic synch for the Satellite wave. If it's cloudy overnight, the Sat-watch really struggles to get a signal to work with indoors. The big maple tree outside and overhead to the bedroom may influence that. Typically I just have to hold the Sat-watch near a window and touch the quick-synch button and it will get a time fix in a couple of seconds. The Blue Angels must wait for the next night.
