Just got home after meeting with a few lads from our local WIS community. Cold beer, good grub and some interesting watches. Lots of fun!

I like having the Casio LCDs next to the diamond encrusted Cartier. Shows the extent of the hobby.
Who made that wave dial in the bottom row? I've heard rumors of that.

Looks like the Cronos Bronze Kanagawa from WR Watches but the hands aren't the same. wrwatches.com/collections/cronos/products/cronos-bronze-sbdc053-kanagawaThere are several Kanagawa dial on WR Watches. They and Heimdallr also sell the dials for mods. The picture is from a famous Japanese wood block print, "The Great Wave of Kanagawa". It was the inspiration for Seiko's Tsunami wave on the back of its dive watches.

Actually, those LCDs are Seiko but as you say it's quite a range, eh? I can't say who made the Kawanga dialed watch but the chap said he bought it off someone in Toronto. I recall seeing some hand painted versions years ago but as John pointed out, the industrial complex has since kicked in and there are plenty versions out there now. I thought that Omega was pretty cool. It's the 2010 Winter Olympics edition. But that Cartier......definitely not wallet friendly

The caseback on this one is a little different as well.

Looks like the shark logo on the back of a San Martin, but it's missing the brand and model engraving you would find around it. Seeing that, I'm thinking a custom build or mod now.

Very cool and yes, I recognise some Chinese inventions as they do some very interesting AND affordable things in bronze nowadays.
