45mm Android Hercules Tungsten Sapphire with SII NH35 Nope, no mistake. It's Tungsten, not Titanium, at the other end of the mass spectrum with a mass density nearly identical to Gold (it's been used to make fake Gold bullion). Case and bracelet are mirror finished Tungsten. I believe the clasp and crown are stainless. Bought it in 2014 when Wing was just starting to clear his closets out for the brand name change. Definitely heavy for its size.

Going to be busy with the Truck show all day. Still wearing the grey Hemel. Nice one Jeff - have a good time at the show. The Hemel have become popular and it's easy to see why with their style and affordability.

Isn't it so, that Tungsten is also very hard, doesn't scratch easily? Today the watch I became more and more in love with, as I honestly think (as i.m.h.o) that this is Seiko's best looking model wristwatches for men. There are even nicer versions (dial, hands/colors, bezel inlays), but I am already very happy with this specific one.

A very nice pair of Androids. A busy day here with tenants moving out. Hope the new ones will be no problem. Oh well, a sterile titanium here. Bob

I was up almost 2 hours before dawn in order to try to take photos of Mars and Venus, with a blind attempt at Uranus. Where I could set up with a view of Polaris for proper mount alignment, Mars was visible in a crotch of tree branches. By the time I was aligned and ready to go, Mars was in the branches. Did a series on Venus, but unsure if the results are good enough. Tried to move to Uranus and started taking photos blind and hoping it was in frame. I'm not sure if I can pick out the planet among the stars in the photos. I'm comparing the constellations to Stellarium, but not getting a good fix on Uranus. Mars never emerged from the leaves before morning twilight. Now after napping a bit, I'm doing laundry and it's cool enough today for a leather strap. Orient Bambino is called-up today.

I really like the wide, angled chapter ring. I've switch honeymoons for today. I just got this nice, heavy nylon 2-piece and it works great on the Islander.
