Bulova Champlain 262kHz Precisionist HAQAbout the same size as the new Aragon at just about 48mm dia. without the crown, and 16mm thick. Smaller than the Androids from the past two days. Not as heavy which means less steel and more spacer inside. Blatant faux diver in spite of screw down crown and 300m water resistance. Bezel cannot rotate for two reasons. - Crystal, bezel and top of case are curved, and
- Even if the bezel was flat, the bolt heads would prevent it.
Spent most of yesterday at the vet with a very sick 14 year-old cat. Dramatically fast weight loss along and lethargy with eating very little kibble. Waiting on blood and urine test results today, which took quite a while for them to get from her yesterday. Got some wet food that she's lapping up, but still needs to eat more. At least she's drinking water. Spending time getting her to eat more food every few hours. The challenge is keeping the 13 year old alpha male away while she's getting some of the wet food and having to put him in the "catabozo" (his calabozo) while she's eating it. At 14 years, she's an older cat, but has been extremely healthy until now.

They were healthy except for bladder stone problems until early this year. Now Laverne has kidney failure, and she's super skinny. I have to give her food mixed with aluminum hydroxide. She gets a spoonful whenever she asks. Fortunately, Shirley likes her naps and doesn't bother her when she's getting her extra food. I'm doing my best, but I don't know how much longer she's going to keep going. Right now she's eating and drinking and napping in my recliner, and seems content and happy, and as long as she's not in distress I'll keep doing what I'm doing. She's also decided to pee on the floor in the laundry room, instead of in the box. Which is fine. I just mop it up every day, and the kidney problems make her urine very dilute, so It doesn't really have an odor. The hard part about pets is when they get old and sick and die. My goal has been to outlive them, so nobody has to adopt old cats. So far, so good! My cancer is still cowering in my lower back and going nowhere. Islander back on the bracelet today. I'm in love with this iridescent yellow dial!

John, hope the cat is able to recover from it's ailment. I brought out a blue and silver dial just 6 days ahead of WDD. Actually had to set the time today. I also needed to change the CR2032 cell in my Maratac mid-pilot since I noticed it doing 4 ticks at once this morning, then 8 ticks (2 seconds) jumps tonight.
